What Breed Could My Cat Be?

I've recently taken in a stray but I can't seem to figure out what breed he is I asked the vet who also seems to have no idea what he could be.

He is very cute! I would describe him as a brown tabby Domestic Longhair. I think he is going to end up as a longhair because he looks quite fluffy and has long ear furnishings. A sideview picture would certainly be helpful, so we can see what exact kind of tabby pattern he has.
