Tapeworm looks like little rice grains that are stuck to the bum or fur area around the bum or tail of your cat. It's the broken section of the tapeworm and Tapeworm is usually link to the cats having fleas as the tapeworm needs a host which are the fleas.

Once the cat ingest a tapeworm contaminated with fleas during grooming, that's when the infestation starts.

It may be what LTS3 LTS3 mentioned, roundworm.

Thank you for your reply. I googled it but all the pics looked very futuristic/macro so couldn't tell..

It is an indoor cat. I clean regularly, not sure how she got it.
I saved the worm, will take it with me tomorrow. I think she will be fine overnight...
Looked all over the house (every dark corner too) looking for more vomit but looks like this was the first one.

Should I lock up the other cat in a separate room so they don't interact? The other cat is fine, has no symptoms or anything.

She likely ate something that contained a roundworm egg such as a mouse or something containing worm eggs got onto her fur which she ingested as she groomed herself.

I don't it's necessary to keep the one cat separated from the other but you could if you want to be extra cautious. I would have both cats treated for worms to be sure that the worm issue is gone.
