Jcatbird Jcatbird Hoping when you do post that you're feeling a lot better. Those are horrible things to have. My mom and I both had/have really narrow sinuses and it's a lifelong problem. Awful! :vibes:
M maggiedemi Yeah, they sound really bad. Hoping you don't have cause to get them very often. I guess I use the Doris Day philosophy of life -- "Que sera, sera!" and leave it in the Care of the Creator while doing the best I can with whatever the matter may be. Things I can't help at all, I pray on, and leave there. It can feel like I'm helpless at times, especially with things I care about, like the Australia situation. But I am the product of some really tough realists, and I guess it's rubbed off on me. For which I'm grateful.
@MoonstoneWolf Though those are very sad, you're lucky you don't get them about those you know personally. I once got one telling me to take pictures of someone I loved because I would not see him again. Sure enough, it happened.

Hi Everyone! Still kicking!:gingercat:

Oh I think I just missed you, but in any case I'm sending you healing thoughts!
:vibes::alright:
Thank you!

That photo is too darling LOL
I liked that pose Banjo gave me too! She’s so photogenic. I am always smiling. Even with an earache! Lol

I only get that feeling when it's like a celebrity. Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, Frank Zappa, Curt Cobain and yes just the other day I thought "I wonder how Grumpy Cat is." And then I hear of her passings. I too hate these kind of warnings and it makes me wary of even thinking or talking about celebrities. I never have these warning signs with people I know.
Oh dear! Those thoughts are hard to deal with. I want to mention though, it’s great perception that helps you to read other things as well. You may not always be in tune to it but I bet you read cats well! I am always telling people who have an idea about a kitty, trust your intuition. These thoughts and feeling are often signals that we pick up. I’m sorry for the bad parts but take a deep look at other things you perceive. There may be a good side to this. I hope so.

Awww, wish I was there to catch my pretty little Lady. :redheartpump:

I wish you had been too, but with a pillow in your lap! She had claws out. Lol

I don't have to wonder what Demi is doing. He makes sure I know it. :eek2:

Demi & Maggie love those soups, but they are expensive for a treat. I wish they would make them a complete meal.

They are expensive and the cats love them. Another food addiction.

I get those. Not fun. :fear:

Ummm. Can you do that for me, except for the Mega Millions?
If I catch more numbers in the clouds, I’ll be sure to let you know. Too bad I can’t make that happen.

I was thinking about asking too. You beat me to it. How are those clouds looking Jcatbird?
I guess you and Maggiedemi are going to have to share the winnings! I did get a cloud picture on my way home. Not sure what this could mean but it’s not numbers!

Eeeek! Is that another owl! Uh oh!

That is so sad. :( I do think this kind of thing is a way to prepare us. I also think that using your inner voice gives you a closeness to the kitties and everything else that matters to you. We can’t change everything but we can use every ability that comes along to do our best here.

Awwwwww! That sweet face! You know that ones gets me! Cuddle vibes arrived here with the picture! Thank you! :cloud9:

Teh kitteh love will save you!
It’s true! The kitty love will save me! This reminds me of the way Banjo too care of Whistle when he was so sick! She laid right done on top of her brother. She still does! This is precious! I’ll see if Banjo and Whistle will do this to me. :p Thank you!

I love the cute kitties.
Let me see if my kitties will help me out! Lol

I did go to get medical attention today. I am on antibiotics now so hopefully I’ll be back “ up to snuff” soon. I got a bag full of helpful supplies! Probiotics, stuff to help my ear, help the inflammation, etc, etc..
Everything but a bag full of magic beans. I tried all the natural remedies that I knew of, now I’ve just got to try this. I probably won’t use everything suggested but I’ll do all that is needed so I am in good shape for the kitties. They pretend to be able to handle everything without me but I think they doth protest too much!!

Our usual cat sitter took me to the doctor so we had a different sitter. It was our sitters’ son! The kitties were fine but.........
This is the first thing I received when I got home!

I think I got chewed out! :help:

I am hoping that I’ll be forgiven. Lol Come on Banjo! I need your comfurt! :alright::bicolorcat:
Well...... maybe I’ll get the Kitty Broths out. After all I do save them for when somebody is sick. It’s just that this time, it isn’t a kitty. ;)

Have a beautiful night everyone and thank you for the kind wishes. If that cloud owl is in the sky, it’s waaaaay off down the road and clouds can’t fly against the wind. :thanks:

That is definitely a big owl in the clouds! :running::fear:
Hope you are feeling better today after all of that excellent C.A.T.!
Your mention of beans reminds me that one of my cousins had to go to the ER once because Mr. Brilliant put a bean in his ear...and then couldn't get it out. :headscratch:

I'll be buying a Mega Millions ticket next week. It's at $367 million. :crossfingers:

Aww, sounds like the perfect natural cure. :redheartpump:

it looks almost like a velociraptor
I thought it looked like a scary monster or boogeyman. :fear:

My cousin did the same thing, but she stuck it up her nose. What is it with cousins?

IDK, M maggiedemi -- the cousins on that side of my family all had/have issues. Those on the other side are all pretty normal, except for my favorite one who's an incredible multi-instrumentalist.

I was looking at the first cloud picture again, and it looks almost like a velociraptor chasing its next meal.
Ohhh! That’s not something I want hanging over me!:help::help:

It might be an owl. It was an omen of fever!

I see a dolphin head in the last cloud pic. :dunno:
I see the dolphin too! On a very calm sea. :)

Good luck with that ticket!

I guess starve a cold and fur a fever! :p Or is that starve a cold and feed the fur?

I love how everyone saw something imaginative in the clouds! I always loved looking up and finding pictures in the sky. Picture perfect!

I didn’t have a beanie baby cousin. I did have one that sand Old MacDonald repeatedly every time you asked her a question! Lol Not exactly a songbird either. My mothers’ side of the family was musically talented though. My Dads’ father played a mean Banjo. Lol Not the cat! :flail:

Speaking of musical...... I caught a cute show today.

Do you recognize this instrument?

Oh no.... Sending vibes ....
:vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes:
Thank you for the quick vibes! The vet staff finally returned my call. Whew! They were booked solid but made room for us at 3. We got there early and they got Whistle in early.

How are things now?
We are back home. Thank goodness!

Jcatbird Jcatbird Oh no, Whistle! :vibes::vibes::vibes::redheartpump::runningcat::redheartpump: You are far too loving and cute to have any kind of problems whatsoever! You and your meowm get better right away, okay? *And that is one of the absolute cutest series of pix you've posted! Seeing loving cats always makes me smile!*:goldstar:
I agree! Far too sweet for problems. This is one of the most snuggly babies I have ever known. He is made of solid love.
I’m glad you smiled! Seeing those two together is always a heart warmer for me! Looking back at their beginnings, I always count my blessings.

As soon as I drove off with Whistle for the vet visit, I wished I had brought Banjo too. Whistle needed the moral support. Still....... maybe a bit of independence should be encouraged. We went without Banjo. We survived.

Here’s what happened at the vet visit.

I don’t want to see the vet!

Poor little Whistle. He is in my lap now. He has a small scratch on his eye. I have pain medicine for him and 10 days of antibiotic ointment to apply to his eye. Three times a day. I guess we’ll stay in bed together. Thank goodness we have Doctor Banjo here!

Although.....

Banjo had been watching out the window for our return!

Oops! I just got a look that could kill! :thud:I guess Doctor Banjo will be concentrating just on Whistle. I think I might be in the “dog house.” Whistle ratted me out. ;)

I do love these kitties! That look may be contain daggers but it really shows how much Banjo loves her brother. Even if I’m in trouble, I had to laugh at the Banjo stare! Good sister!
Banjo usually looks like she is smiling. Not in that last photo! Cats definitely have, and show ,their emotions and thoughts! I totally understood what Banjo had to say to me. I’ll be trying to explain to her that I was actually helping Whistle!:p I wonder what she’ll do to me when I put the medicine in his eye?????:flail:

I hope everyone receives the kind of love that Banjo and Whistle give!
:happycat::happycat:Have a great night everyone. :heartshape::kitty:

It is the best kind of love!
I’ll try not to post anymore monster clouds!

It's amazing how much bigger Banjo and Whistle are from that throwback picture!

Hope the eye is all better soon.
Thank you! Hopefully all he needs are the antibiotics and a little time to heal.
I got him to the vet within hours of him hurting it and the vet examined his eye very closely. They put some dye in his eye and looked at it under a special light to be able to see the injury well. If he doesn’t seem more comfortable before the weekends, I’ll be taking him back.

Banjo and Whistke really have grown! I looked back at some of their earliest indoor photos.
They were so little! They’ve grown from beautiful kittens into beautiful cats. It’s kind of fun to look back at the changes.

Baby Banjo

He never turned back.

One thing that has never changed at all is their devotion to each other.
489553FA-DFF2-450E-9191-3475F4ED95B8.jpeg

Banjo took care of Whistle when he was very sick as a kitten. She often takes the role of Mothering but Whistle has done his share of taking care of her too. Banjo and Whistle had gotten lost and separated at their adopted home. I recovered Whistle before I found Banjo. When I did find her and brought her home from Florida, she was severely traumatized. Whistle was responsible for her recovery. Banjo was in shock but Whistle just would not give up on her. I witnessed a moment between them that I will never forget. Whistle had been pushing Banjo to calm down. She repeatedly withdrew from everyone and everything in fear. Whistle finally just grabbed her around the neck, held on to her and buried his face next to hers. Banjo suddenly had a look of recognition on her face. She put her paws around Whistle and started washing him all over. It was an immediate change. It was as though she had awakened from a bad dream to find her brother was holding her and everything was okay. The trauma was over. I still get choked up thinking about it. As M maggiedemi said, unconditional love is the best!! The kitties certainly have mine!
