my kitty will only eat cuts in gravy. Won’t touch Pate. I read on here about the binder Carrageenin. Had no clue before...i tried fancy feast pate and he won’t eat it.
I’ve looked at middle of the road brands like Nutro, hills...alllthose have Carrageenin...

I found Sheba doesn’t have that and it’s in my price point...pure harmony has that nasty filler...
Anyone else use Sheba? Im hoping he will like it.. will he get enough nutrients? Of course my vet pushes hills science and Royal Canin (I hear most vets do...

Thx guys!

Hi! I give my boy Sheba, when he's willing to eat it :) it's a complete food, other than their meaty sticks treats and broths which are not nutritionally complete..
Thank you! I will be using this as his primary food so wanted to make sure..I was happy to see Carrageenin not listed as a binder...

There are ingredients in both that I would prefer to not be included but unless you go for home made or an expensive brand, thats what you get. Its no good paying a fortune for food if they wont eat it. I have tried all sorts with one of mine, throw away so many but Sheba he eats and thats it.

Have a look at the attached.

Thx...you’re right...I think they’re pretty equal but again was glad Sheba doesn’t have Carragenan o however u say it!

My little guy is 8.5 months and already a-finicky little thing.

Yes, if I had to pick between those two, I'd definitely choose the Sheba. I don't like all the ingredients there, either, (I wouldn't want to feed either tapioca starch or menadione all the time) but there are more things in the other food that I wouldn't want to feed at all: potatoes, peas, and carrageenan.

And I'm pretty sure V verna davies was looking for cat pictures! ;)

We feed Sheba pate as part of our rotation (I have the opposite problem... Mine refuses to eat any chunks )
