Good morning!

If you could have lunch with a celebrity who would you choose to have lunch with? Where would you go?

I was going to say Nick Cave but I'm so in awe of the man I probably wouldn't be able to say anything to him, let alone eat.

Maybe David Sedaris would be a better lunch date, I'm sure he'd be able to keep me entertained with all of his funny stories. I'd take him to our local sushi restaurant. The food comes on a shiny metal conveyor belt, but if you order a special dish it comes on a toy bullet train that runs on a special track.

I'm sure he'd get a kick out of that.

:lol2:

My favorite singer Rob Thomas. But he's married, so we'd probably bring his wife along to lunch. They live near NYC, so we'd probably go to one of the vegetarian restaurants there that I've been wanting to try. Then afterwards we would visit an animal shelter or rescue because they do a lot of work trying to save animals.

Fran Drescher.

There's a ton of other people that I admire but I can't think of anyone else that I genuinely think I could actually have normal conversations with. And we'd probably go to some good deli in NYC and have bagels and lox lol.

Norachan Norachan - David Sedaris is an excellent choice also. I love his writing and I bet he'd be easy to spend time with too. Love his books, I laugh out loud reading them. And yes I bet he'd be completely enamored with conveyor belt sushi! Maybe he'll come dressed in one of his baggy expensive Japanese outfits :flail:

I'd have lunch with Justus West. He's not super famous or a well known artist but he's talented and has done great work! It would be something super low-key like a pub or one of those boardgame cafe's. I'd love to talk to him because he seems down to earth. I feel like we'd have a lot in common. Maybe we'd end up writing a song together or collaberating on some major project.

Artie Lange. He's one of my favorite comedians and the Howard Stern show hasn't been the same without him. He's going through some very difficult times with legal and addiction problems and I think I'd just want to let him know that so many are rooting for him to get well and continue to succeed. He needs to know that people are still in his corner. We'd be having some good comfort food. I'm not sure where but it really doesn't matter.

Angelina Jolie. I dream about her a lot and in those dreams we are best friends. So strange but I've been having these dreams for years. Her children are in them as well.

We would go to The Oaks Lodge a restaurant near hear that is located on a lake.

Robert Irvine from the Food Network. I know he seems gruff but he is from a military background so I get him. He got into some trouble a while back for padding his resume and was off of the network for awhile, as he put it 'he took his punishment.' I think that makes him human, most of us have stretched things a bit here and there on a resume.

Jane Goodall - her dedication and love of primates is enlightening.
I'd probably take her to lunch at a small, independent restaurant, e.g. nothing fancy because she doesn't strike me as that type of person. The conversation would be more intriguing than the food.
