Molly has decided that she loves Tiki Cat Velvet Mousse, especially the chicken and egg flavor. I think part of why she likes it is the less pate like consistency. Anything in gravy she licks the gravy and leaves the rest, and pates she often licks a bit of, then walks away. Smashing the pate with a fork gets me "Really? I can tell you just smashed it with a fork. It's the same thing." sort of looks. Mixing water with the pate can get her to eat more, but sometimes she still is not thrilled.
The velvet mousse is a different, less...congealed/gelled texture, and she seems to like that. Are there other wet foods with a similar soft texture? Pate-type blended, but doesn't retain the shape of the container when you plate it? Tiki cat is better than a lot of options, but all of the velvet mousse has chicken, seafood, or both, and I know too much of those might not be the best for her health, so I'd like other options to add to the rotation.
