View attachment 284343 View attachment 284344 I don't know what kind of tree this is, but I passed it on my way to the post office this morning. It's a little bit beat up from the wind and the inch-and-a-half of rain that we got in just over 8 hours.
It's a deciduous magnolia.

Our crab trees are blooming now, but I haven't had time to take a photo of them.

That's a magnolia, looks like a variety of soulangiana.

I remember them from Ohio, an old lady had one across the street. She's gone but the tree's still there . . . .

We're going to get another 4 inches of rain this weekend :/. That'll be the end of any flowering.

I took some nice pictures of flowering crabapple trees but every time I try to post them it says the images are too big. I have about 3 tulips that grow randomly in the yard but they're basically done now anyway.

A little tree and it's our favourite thing in the garden. I don't know what it is though.

Yikeadoodle!

That thing's pretty! Looks like some kind of deciduous azalea! (Now you know why so many of us go who-ha over them.)

My roommate and I both screamed obscenities at the hoot-owls . . .
