I’ve never been on this forum before so forgive me if I do something wrong but my cat eat the balloon thread !!!! And he’s been trying to throw it up but he can’t , what do I do? Has this ever happened to any of you guys???

The vet might need to do an exray and surgery. It can cause serious blockage in her Intestines if she cant get it out

Thanks y’all !!! He’s Okay now, he’s back to his normal pull the water dish half way across the room self , thank you guys for all your help!!! And as an FYI to all of you don’t get balloons , I’ll never be getting them again , not after this, I just never would have guessed he would eat the string , thanks for all the help!!!!!

He’s okay now thank goodness
Since he ate the balloon string you'll need to look at all strings - shoe laces, hair ties, ribbons, draw strings on pants, rubber bands, those little ties on the bread - anything that resembles string or is string as the enemy. Get rid of all of it. Cut the tails off his catnip mice.

I have to do this, my boy isn't a string eater for the most part but he LOVES chewing on those little catnip mice tails
