Anyone feeding the Ziwi Peak air dried cat food? I probably would have tried it already if they made a Turkey diet but they don't. May be interested in trying the lamb.

For anyone who is feeding it, I'm curious if it soaks up water like freeze dried so it can be fed wet. I have a feeling that it would be more like trying to soak beef jerky but thought I'd ask anyway.

Anyone know?

Thanks

I've tried to rehydrate it as mine wouldn't eat it dry and you are correct, it's more like trying to hydrate jerky lol. Not at all like freeze dried.

:yeah:

But if you want to give it a try and see if your cat likes it anyway, contact Ziwi Peak and ask if they still provide free samples. That's what I did, so at least it didn't cost me anything to give the air-dried food a try and have our cats promptly refuse it. :)

The problem is that my cat was a dry kibble eater for all of his 12 years up until recently. I'm afarid that if he ends up liking it, it's all that he will eat. I think I'll probably pass on trying it.

Thanks for the input.
