Well, my Panthera has a mom (me) who is from Germany, but does that make him German?Thank you. There are lots of impressive cats on this thread (but I believe Pantera is the only brazilian though)
I expect where a cat is born determines his or her nationality, as is the case for humans. It has nothing to do with ethnicity or breed or culture, but it's where the passport would say (s)he is from.

When I rented half of a duplex several locations ago, the family up front included two Japanese bobtails (country of origin unknown to me) and the people probably thought I was a dangerous cat-stalker because every time I talked to them I made it known that I wanted their cats.

ROFLMOTO! Our beloved angel Nicolas T. Cat ate orange butterflies when he was first sighted in our yard. I joked that it was because he wanted to get some color (he was a very light buff with white undercoat).Thank you

Calo, though, never ate any butterflies or lizards that I know of. He was an excellent guardian to Rojita and Tim, and once indoors, a very comforting presence for us all.
