Baby Bella is doing great!! She reached the 14 days old mark this morning! She has her peepers open & weighed in at over 5 oz this morning (my phone memory is full but i will try for more pics). yesterday she was at 4.7 oz. I did have to discontinue the Breeders Edge formula because even at only 1:4 dilution, it causes vomiting of froth. So back to the goat milk glop until her goat milk kmr arrives. She is VERY alert - she mews for french fries and Fritos and cat treats; she will spit out her bottle if she smells something "better". and like all self-respecting kids everywhere, she locks her lips shut when she smells her Biomoxx dropper. But she purrs and purrs when she is awake on my lap & chest. And unless she is sleeping, she wants to be exploring or "wrestling". It's harder to put her down for naps now, without her protesting and scratching the sides of her box. I believe that she is the most precocious kitten that I have ever raised!

I was happy to read this post from the start to the day 14 post! I’m sure the TLC you have given her made it so she could make it to day 14!

Thank you for the responses- the baby is doing well but I got busy helping the neighbors find homes for 4 other possible littermates/relatives and of the new adopters needs a lot of directions and supervision.
The kitten is still very young looking (vet had mentioned that she looked preemie; the mama cat had 4 more babies about 10 days later so I guess it was a multiple-delivery-dates, which the vet had speculated might be the case of an overlarge litter) but she is very alert. She enjoys TV and our little dog Mia. But she responds to "Trini" or "Tilly" instead of Bella.

I was beginning to have issues with Tilly doing the "stare-leap-attack/bite" to the dog and our young cats as well as to my face. She was being fierce. So I am limiting her YouTube watching to old movies and comedy/talk shows. She was extraordinarily fascinated by battle reenactments in Henry VIII documentaries; while I think that it was coincidence that she went from watching a scene of horses and men fighting to lunging at my face, just the sounds of battle & agony are probably not healthy. At least she likes Jimmy Kimmel and adores Trevor Noah. And her BIG crush is Dorothy Ann Seese from the vintage 5 Little Peppers movies.
