My senior girl with pancreatitis will not eat anything (even a/d emergency food) except Gerber Baby Food (Stage 2 Chicken). She throws up everything else, but not the baby food.

I need to know very soon what supplement(s) I can add to the baby food to keep her nutrition up long term. Can anyone help . . . please?

It's for my Olivia, my precious feline daughter

Baby food is most likely nothing but boneless meat cooked and puréed. So look to a raw/homemade premix for boneless meat. Something that provides calcium. If you can get her to eat freeze dried liver treats, I can find the page that explains how to use freeze dried liver in place of fresh liver. To the baby food with liver, you can add Alnutrin with calcium. This is a short-term diet while you keep trying to find a more permanent food solution that agrees with her. But I do know how hard it is to keep a pancreatic kitty eating. I got my Krista through it feeding various Tiki Cat tuna flavors until she was feeling well enough to eat Rawz turkey and rabbit and duck. All novel proteins to her. I still keep cans of Tiki Cat tuna flavors just for when she’s not eating again. Better fish than starve.

Thank you for your quick response.

I've tried cooking, pureeing - everything. She will only eat Gerber Stage 2 chicken baby food.

What I'm looking for is a supplement that has the taurine, ash and all that cats need. Just a powder, gel of some sort, that I can add to the baby food.
