Good question Mia. Off the top of my head I would say Bermuda, Sicily or Tuscany. Somewhere with a good climate, views and colourful flowers.

Somewhere with an ocean view. I'm not really a beach person, but I love the sound of the ocean. Maybe somewhere high up with dramatic cliffs and a great view of the sea and sky would be nice.

I would pick Wyoming; probably somewhere around Casper or Gillette, but definitely not around Jackson- it's too trendy there.

Mountains on a lake. Far away from everyone, no traffic, and quiet!

An out of the way place in the mountains. It would definitely be a summer home, I wouldn't want to deal with winter in the mountains.

Ouhh! I would love to have a second home somewhere with a lot of forest, trees, lakes, wilderness, etc.

Just to get away from busy city life and polution.

I would love a house close to a city, so I wouldn't have to drive 30 minutes to get to the stores & restaurants, I would love to be able to walk. I don't really care where, but warm weather would be nice, and a place with no natural disasters.

I would like to have a home in CA in the mountains by a lake.

i really like the 'snow bird' idea. some place where it's warm (but not too hot, either), when it's cold where my primary residence is.

Somewhere on the upper Atlantic coast, near or on the beach so I could metal detect the beaches.

I love the beach, so it would have to be a beach house. I love to listen to the ocean and watch the wildlife on the sand, the little clams that wash up with a wave, then dive back into the sand, and the seabirds patrolling the shoreline.

But it would have to be somewhere that doesn't get hurricanes.

I adore the beach and the ocean,so I guess if money was no object and my little place got blown or washed away,I could afford to rebuild,yes?Otherwise I would say a small home in Keene,NY so we could go trout fishing in the Ausable River.

I'd like to have a first house/home. I would love to have a house near mountains though, maybe Canada.

I've been there. It is pretty country.

lf l won the lottery today, l'd stay right here! l'm an immigrant here in Canada for 40 years, living in a small, friendly little town with awesome neighbours. l love it here.

Oh yes indeed!My folks bought a small house in Keene because they loved that area and both loved their trout fishing...and the bears that visited the Newcomb dump!

If I had a second home, I would sell it. I love where I live and don't need another house.

I'd go for a mountain cabin/lake home. DH and I joke about moving somewhere remote when he retires.

My family had a camp in the mountains when I was a kid. It wasn't fancy and sometimes we slept 3 to a bed to pack everyone in; but man I wouldn't trade those memories for anything. We walked to a lake with the adults to swim and sometimes boat; but mostly we played in the woods and sat around the campfire at night. It was owned by my grandparents and my great and and uncle; so it was open for any of the descendants to use...so there could be a couple dozen of us there sometimes! The only downside was using an outhouse.

I'd love a second home in Spain, just outside the city of Seville in the countryside.
