I read in a forum once to try canned oysters to lure the more resistant or trap-shy cats. It works. My own cats even went right into the trap a few times to get some, and they knew what would happen if they went in!
Just the can oysters that humans eat? I'll give that a try. When we stop having severe storms that is.

BTW: when you talk to a cat and they look directly at you cocking their head only when you talk, does that mean anything? My cat, Pepper that I had (she was never a stray) just chose to ignore me all the time although I loved.

Yes, the ones people eat. They’re nice and cheap, too. And when cats **** their head when you talk, they may be just listening to the different sounds, especially if you’re in a small room or stairwell. They seem to be more sensitive to bouncing sound waves than we are.

Oh no. It just never ends. I just caught on cam Treasure eating while Shaman is sitting nearby. Then Shadow comes, jumps on chair, knocks it over with something else and all three ran off. Are they permanently scared and will never return now as a result? And I've been working so hard with them all this time and this happens. :(

BTW: Shadow doesn't appear to be pregnant, she's seems the way she was for a year so it may have been a diagnosis.
