The lady at the sanctuary said: They seem to be resting comfortably in their spacious carriers so I think we won't disturb them tonight. Their food and water has been refreshed. Tomorrow they will be moved into large cages with hammocks to begin acclimating to the Sanctuary and its residents.

I got approval for the next group of three to be sent. I'm just working out who that will be. I'm still waiting on the second FIV test for Harry and Tom. I will try to find a FIV rescue or sanctuary for them to go to if they are positive. In that case Heart and Autumn will go:

This kitty was recently abandoned and is a possibility for the third kitty (he doesn't have a name yet):

surya surya OH YES!!! Love that good report. And the pix. They are so irresistible IMHO. Well, Azul ("blue"=Spanish) is always a good name for a cat of the grey persuasion...

Azul is good. I was thinking of calling him Slim, because he's skinny. There was always a cowboy in the old westerns names Slim. But then I thought he could be call Cowboy, he kind of looks like a cowboy to me. My rescue friend doesn't have the money to get him fixed right now. She just paid a butt load of money to get a kitties leg amputated. So it's up in the air whether or not we can help poor little skinny boy.

*PRAYERS* that the way to help will be found. My Samuda was definitely a cowboy cat. Shortly before he left us, I was able to get him a red bandana collar.

OK...SOMEBODY needs to name a gray cat "Mr. Fogbottom," so that the Fog can creep in on little cat feet!

As for our three who have arrived,

View attachment 282825 And everyone else involved, OF COURSE!

Yes, the number of people who helped rescue these three cats is pretty amazing, myself, my rescue friend, two awesome Catsite friends who bought the carrier, the ladies at Imagine Home who got all the volunteer drivers, a whole bunch of volunteer drivers, The lady at the sanctuary and all the moral supporters here on the Catsite sending out their good thoughts and prayers. These kitties are loved!

Speaking of awesome, I just got a $10 donation towards a carrier, Yay!

Wonderful to know that Reggie, Misty & Sabrina are safe! I'm certain they will gets lots of love as they wait for their forever home.

How about Clint (Eastwood) for new guy? Sorry, limited cowboy knowledge over here. I kinda like Ivan & Mishka since I tend to think Blues need a Russian name.

I was wondered about little Heart. I even looked back to see if I could find mention of her being adopted. Nice to see an update on her. Sending positive thoughts & prayers for all the kitties!

One lady who was helping transport said she was thinking about adopting Reggie. I don't know if she was serious, but that would be awesome if she did.

I am a Clint Eastwood fan, so I am leaning towards that now.

Clint or whatever grey boy's name is will be going to the vet in the morning. He will be a guest in my bathroom for the night.

We do have one possible crate. There's a lady that might have one in her garage we can have.

Little Timmy is going to see an internal specialist tomorrow.

Prince, the kitty who had his leg amputated last week is having surgery to fix his teeth.

Excellent! *PRAYERS* that Reggie and the transport lady will be a good fit and that this will be his loving permanent family!
I had a relationship with a guy named Clint. He was one of the better ones, actually.
*PRAYERS* for Timmy and Prince!
And hoping that lady is able to furnish the crate.

Wow, so much going on! Praying the specialist will provide a treatment plan for sweet Timmy. That Prince will continue getting the care he needs. That gray guy will be a good overnight guest. And our hero Reggie will be adopted!!!

So many amazing people working together to save these precious kitties!

I know why you didn't give up in the face of seemingly insurmountable odds, surya surya , you are one of those lucky people who have a true Heart's Calling, a call to a higher purpose that cannot be ignored. I know it can be very frustrating, and lonely, but...at the end of each day, your soul has stretched just a bit larger, has become just a bit finer. HUGS!

Thank you! Some bad news today, the second test came back on Tom and Harry and they are FIV+. A wonderful cat site member is sending me a donation. Yay! Not too promising finding a FIV rescue or shelter yet for Tom and Harry, but will keep looking.

Good. They do exist -- a lot of FIV+ get rescued out of the NYCACC, for instance -- and people are getting educated to the fact that FIV+ cats can and do live long, healthy, happy lives, successfully with FIV- or other FIV+ cats.
