My girl kitty, Guts, always sleeps between my legs at night. When my alarm goes off at 5:45am for work each day she immediately hops up and waits at the door for me to get up, goes in the kitchen to wait for me to get my breakfast, and then we go downstairs together. She always lays with me while I eat my breakfast on the couch watching Netflix lol. Then she goes in and sits on the sink while I do my makeup. She's like a puppy!

My cats are so darn good. They all sleep on the bed with me, but they really don't bother me until the alarm goes off. Once it does Bella Roma, who will be a year old this summer, starts head butting me and sticking her butt in my face. Atticus, my three-year-old delicious smelling gray tabby, will crack open an eyelid, stretch and yawn, then lazily flop his paw over the side of his cat bed. Thirteen, my three-year-old tuxedo, will immediately jump off the bed and trot into the kitchen where she knows the food is. My partner complains because the first words I speak in the mornings are to my cats. It's always the same thing: "Good morning, Kitties! Are you ready for your breakfast? Are you? Yes you are! Come on, let's go get our mouses!"

Well I have 4 young boys and one is a Bengal/Siamese mix so I usually don't have to do anything to start the conversation :flail:

But I do have to greet Richard first and say "good morning" in a soft voice 4 or 5 times while giving him lots of pets. Then I greet the rest of my babies in a similar fashion. I then proceed to go out, clean the litter boxes, start my morning coffee, and then I go to the feeding area and look down at them and ask, "who's hungry?!?!" They respond in unison, almost like a choir

Rambo usually greets me in the morning. He wakes me up around 6:30 for breakfast by rolling around on me and purring loudly. I always say "Hello bastard. Want some breakfast?" to which he gets very excited and jumps off the bed and into the kitchen.

They both come up on the bed and stand on my chest/next to me to wake me up. We have morning snuggles for a couple minutes. We then go out into the kitchen and living room and open up the shades, and I say "Look at what a beautiful day it is, guys! Let's greet the day!"

If Gracie wakes me up at 3 or 4am (which she does a lot by jumping on and off me and scratching the bed as she knows it annoys me) it’s usually just ‘Gracie ‘ in an annoyed tone. I do get up and feed her and go back to bed. When I’ve woken again I’m much happier and it’s ‘morning munchkin ‘ !

When I woke up this morning Carleton came into the bedroom to greet me as he does every day. However, I realized I say the same thing to him each and every morning, "hello sweet pea." :lovecat3: How do you greet your cat(s) in the morning?
I get a butt in my face, a claw in my lip, meow jump up meow jump down from the bed repeat.

I've only had her for a few days, but I greet her with 'Hello, Zoe. Are you a plushy cat?'

She jumps up to head bop my hand and I say 'Yes, you are good and plushy.' She starts purring.

I as well say the same redundant thing, "Hello Kitties", I don't think they mind, as all both of mine are concerned about is the YUM-YUMs

My oldest (turning 15 this month) sleeps next to me so I always great her with "hi Kit Kat" and pet her for a few minutes. The other two run around the house all night get so they get "hi baby" or "oh what a sweet lil Peach" whenever they wake up.

I open my door to him at my door, I say "hello" and give him a quick pat on the head, then he'll follow me to the bathroom, where he'll snuggle on my lap while I do my morning business :flail:
