Because everyone knows I love cats, I often get cat themed things as gifts. Sometimes it's a "gag" gift but most of the time it's useful or pretty.
  • Blankets, pillows, hand towels, tea towels.
  • Photo frames, wall art/pictures, various figurines and nick-knacks (it's a long list), candles, candle holders, vases and other decorative "containers", outdoor stone figurine and small pots, welcome mats
  • Books (informational and fictional), book marks, stationary and other "office supplies" (also a long list!), calendars, adult coloring books, puzzles, games (ex: cat version of Monopoly)
  • napkins, napkin holder, S&P shaker, soap dispenser, tea ball, various dishes/mugs, magnets, oven mitts, apron, even my broom is leopard print!, coasters,
  • Jewelry, key chains, clothing, slippers, tote bags, purses, wallets
  • Holiday themed decorations with cats
I'm sure there is more that I can't think of at the moment...I'll keep adding when I think of it.
With this list of stuff, it would seem that I'm surrounded with a bunch of tacky crap, but in all honestly, it is quite tasteful. And not everything is in plain view all the time.

So how about you?

I wish I had a better cat collection. I only have a coffee mug, calendar, day planner book, and two Street Cat Named Bob books.

I have a bunch of random cat things. The running joke with my brother is that I've only bought myself a few shirts (sleep shirts and workout shirts) with cats and maybe a handful of cat related items in my life. Almost everything I own that is cat themed is a gift.

  • Calendar
  • Blanket
  • Cat saying blocks/frames "people who don't like cats will return in the next life as mice" "I work hard so my cat can have a better life" etc
  • Cat statues (wooden, ceramic, and stone)
  • Cat bank
  • Stationary
  • Paperweight
  • Pen holder
  • Post-it holder/dispenser
  • Vinyl sticker for my car (I bought)
  • Cat wearing glasses wood block thingy (I bought)
  • Cat playing with mouse painting
  • Winged cat tattoo (memorial, I bought)
  • PJs
  • Misc. Shirts (I bought mostly)
  • Slippers
  • Purse
  • Cups of various types
  • Wrapping paper (yeah, that was a gift)
  • Cat shaped candy
  • If we are counting cat tree and cat bed I bought those.
This is the coin bank. My Great Grandmother bought it in Mexico at some point (my Mom thinks the 60s or 70s) and gave it to me on the late 80s/early 90s. It broke from the weight of coins around 2001 and I tucked the pieces inside. Recently my Mom put the pieces together, filled the base with plaster and painted it in Links image.

I gave up fighting against the theme a few years ago. My life is apparently doomed to be catified. Embrace the cat lady inside and enjoy it.

An old Garfield bank, a cat calendar, a cat fleece throw, a cat hand made blanket, a crazy cat lady mug, a couple "Cattitude" magnets, and a Crazy Cat Lady magnet.

Oh,, and a bunch of magnetic cat butts...on my refrigerator.

My mom made a photo frame/saying thing or me several years back with the pictures of my four cats (at the time) in it.
This is what it said...

Cat Rules

1) The cats are not allowed in the house.
2) Okay, the cats are allowed in the house, but only in certain rooms.
3) The cats are allowed in all rooms, but must stay off the furniture.
4) The cats can get on the old furniture only.
5) Fine, the cats are allowed on all the furniture but are not allowed to sleep with the humans on the bed.
6) Okay, the cats are allowed on the bed, but only by invitation.
7) The cats can sleep on the bed whenever they want, but not under the covers.
8) The cats can sleep under the covers, but by invitation only.
9) Fine, the cats can sleep under the covers every night.
10) The humans must ask permission to sleep under the covers with the cats.

I don't have much in the way of cat stuff unless you count leopard print.
Bath towels
pillow
sheets blankets
two plates
jacket (snow leopard, hand made by a friend)
shoes
one shirt
hair ties
an area rug in my bathroom
A framed painting of a snow leopard
even my dog's bowl and his collar is leopard print.

I also have a lot of dolphin stuff

none...

but we have the guy in my avatar :)

oddly years ago my then-sister-in-law gave me a statue of an owl for mothers' day, an owl figurine for my birthday and for christmas, a crystal owl. from there on, things went crazy! everyone saw them, thought "oh, patti collects owls", and everyone got me an owl. some were cheap little things, some were folk art, some were fine jewelry and some - like the owl bookends - were useful. frames, collectible spoons, it went on and on.

i ended up with 115 owl pieces, counting 2 bookends or 2 earrings as a single piece. i like owls, but that's when i decided enough was enough and sold or gave away most of them. i still have my faves, though.

A painting of a cat as the Mona Lisa.
Picture frame that says I love my cat.
An "artistic picture" of my late cat, I don't know what else to call it.
A handmade wooden wall hanging of a calico that I bought at a renaissance festival.
A sign that says Cats are like potato chips...you can't have just one.
Cat blanket.
Pillow in the shape of a cat head.
A few cat figurines.
Cat shirts.
Cat jewelry (mainly a locket with my late cat's name on it and one with her picture on it).
Cat shoes.
Cat vinyl stickers for my car.
Crazy Cat Lady mug.
Crazy Cat Lady board game.

I feel like there is more, but maybe not.

So how about you?
Too much! I have enough cat themed items to open my own store. ;)
From jewelry to paintings, clothes, scarves, mittens, socks, figurines, picture frames, prints, plates, bowls, glasses and mugs, books, pillow cases, fleece throws, keychains, coin purses, and even a fireplace statue. I'm sure there's more but that's what comes to mind.
