I Did It: I Think Angel Sent Me A 19 Year Old Cat

Some of you may remember my sweet Persian Mobile (Angel) who passed away from oral squamous cell carcinoma cancer on September 5, 2017.
I adopted Angel on October 17, 2015 at 12 years old, she was very matted and blind. Her owners were tragically killed in a car wreck.
While I only had 22 months with Angel, she taught me a thing or two about life. Maybe that's what led me to this guy.....
This is also kind of an update to my To Love Again? post.


I just filled out the online application to adopt a 19 (almost 20!) year old male Maine Coon. I was approved. He is a 8 hour drive away, but this doesn't bother me.

I know he doesn't look like much at his age, but I'm honestly really happy to bring him home!

He looks so sweet and in need of a good home. Thank you for adopting this old fella. Angel has done well in bringing you together

Oh my, what a beautiful old man! It takes a special kind of person to adopt one at that age, and he is SO blessed to have someone who will love him at the end of his life when he needs it the most. I will say a special prayer for you both, may God bless you for opening your heart. You are an angel here on earth!

He looks like a sweetheart. He’s a lucky boy. I’m definitely going to adopt an older cat next time. So many end up in a shelter from owners passing away. Please keep us updated!
