EMERGENCY!! Not sure what to do or if something is wrong, but my cat who is pregnant, without any warning signs jumped into a box and 10 minutes later gave birth to one kitten it was not breathing or moving I tried everything to resuscitate it but it seems to have been a still born. About 30 minutes after that she jumped out of the box and started going about her normal routine again. It feels as if there is more kittens in her and her abdomen is still large and hard. Just not sure if she or the kittens are okay , Or if there is more kittens. I’ve never been through this before so any advice will greatly help.

I recently went thru a cat giving birth to one baby and then went 24 hours before giving birth to 2 more - one of which was stilborn. Anything is possible. Your mama knew there was something wrong with the first one, and left it knowing there would be more babies to follow. It's part of nature. Remove the stillborn, and prepare the area for her to go back to deliver more. Please keep us posted.
