I don't like anything too revealing or too sexy. I don't like bright colors much. I also prefer plain clothes, I don't like a lot of flowers or prints unless it's tastefully done. I love jeans, but not ripped. I do like those sandals, but they leave a mark that hurts between my toes!

Why do people bother with jeans?
Because when you find a perfect fit, they're so comfortable. And you can wear them casually with a t-shirt. Or dress them up with a nice sweater, or jacket.

I'm not a fan, however, of the distressed, ripped and seriously faded ones.

And I do prefer the dark wash ones, but they so often come with that "dark dye scent", that by the time it washes away, so has the dark tint.

LOL, I love jeans. I agree it's not easy to get a good fit but when you find the right pair they are so comfortable. If they have a little spandex or other material that allows them to stretch they don't feel stiff either.
:yeah:

How about you, any clothing you really hate?
I don't wear skirts/dresses much anymore, but I hated the materials that would get static-y and cling to your legs.

Oh, and pantyhose. Does anyone like pantyhose? Do they even still sell pantyhose?

That said, I can't stand turtleneck sweaters. My neck is short and turtlenecks make me feel like I'm being strangled.
:yeah:
Though I don't think my neck is short, but I do feel as though I'm being strangled if I wear a turtleneck sweater.

I also can't wear anything with any wool. Too itchy.

I loved panty hose. I no longer can wear them because of my foot brace. But for everyone who hates them, you should wear a girdle or a garter belt everyday. Pantyhose were a great improvement.

One thing I hate and will only wear under sheer clothing is a bra. They're just too uncomfortable.
Hehe, wish I had that option! I won't wear an underwire though. They're fine at first but after 2 hours I want to rip it off and burn it. I've had bruises on my ribs from wearing one that was professionally fitted (supposedly if properly fitted they won't hurt you. Haha noooooo!).

I don't like anything between my toes (flip-flops). I don't like anything touching my neck (turtlenecks or necklaces). I don't like sleeveless shirts only because I'm constantly worried my bra strap is showing. I don't like leggings or any other bottoms tight enough to show my saddlebag thighs. I don't like pencil skirts, only a-line (and I'd rather not ever wear a dress or skirt but I'll capitulate to social expectations for special occasions). I can't walk or really even stand in high heels.

Pantyhose are the worst. I don't mind thick tights when it's cold though.

My feet are very picky and only certain shoes will do. But that's not really about preferences.

As I have gotten older I have had to get picky about shoes. I pretty much only wear SAS now. I hate to spend that much for shoes but I don't really have a choice anymore. I used to be a frequent shopper at Payless. Thank goodness there are now stylish shoes that are also good for problem feet.

I am almost 70 now and I love wearing jeans but I am getting kind of old for wearing them. My sister took me shopping on Friday and I went to Macys and brought some casual slacks and blouses to wear when I leave the house. (dining out, doctors appointments, grocery store, etc.) I just wear jeans or shorts around the house.

I also hate wearing shoes and bras. I only wear sneakers and bras when I leave the house. I usually go barefooted around the house. I have not worn a dress in over 40 years.

I dislike anything that fits me too tight, but especially pants that are too tight in the seat. I live in jeans. I love them even if some folks think I might be too old to wear them. My husband tells me I have the body of a 17 year old, but I get out of the car like I am ancient. :flail:

I have extremely sensitive skin (not allergy reactions, more sensory) anything I wear has to be comfortable. I hate bras and have a severe issue with socks. The seam across the toes has literally made me cry from frustration, even wearing them inside out wasn't enough. (I finally found socks I can wear now, yay!). I also have decent shoulder and arm development (not freakish, just enough to make a difference with clothes :freak:), so many clothes are too tight in the armpit and chafe, even thought they fit everywhere else. I really hope the leggings and tunic type shirts/dresses never go out of style. And if they have already...please don't tell me!!

When I was a kid, the sock seams used to really bother me. I couldn't stand it.

My brother could only wear certain socks, and usually inside-out.

A lot of people are cruel to kids with sensory issues and force them to wear things that hurt, and say they're "just being whiny". It's a real problem!

I just thought of another one- I hate wearing a slip! My mom used to make me wear a slip under my dresses and skirts for church. It never fit right and felt so uncomfortable.

Eh, I prefer a slip to staticky and/or see-through skirt problems. Just a half-slip though. Full slips are uncomfortable. And of course only if it fits :D.

Where my cats are
Leggings or skinny jeans. I refuse to wear either.

If I leave the house I typically wear jeans. But it is hard to find ones that fit just right. I got all excited about finding a smaller pair in my closet that fit! Then I remembered I hardly wore them before because they are insanely long. And I'm average height for a woman. I found a youtube video on how to hem them but I haven't gotten around to it yet.

I remember when I was a teen my friend and I figured out what brands worked best with our body shapes. I don't know if I can even count on that as an adult.
