Hello hello! Happy Tuesday!

So as we all know Easter is coming up, which brings up the question....

Favourite Easter Treat?

There are man contenders in my eyes, but the first that came to mind was the Laura Secord egg

Wishing everyone a Happy Easter week! :bunny:

Brach’s Malted Milk Eggs. I love these things and you can buy them only at Easter and only at one store in town. I don’t even shop there but I make a special trip every year to get them. Other people must like them, too, because they’re usually almost out of them!

Cream-filled eggs.

I HATE Peeps! My mother never remembered that both my husband and I loathed them. She had it firmly fixed in her mind that we loved them, so every Easter we'd get several boxes of them. They made something of the same kind at Christmas and we'd get loaded with them, too. When we cleaned out her house, we found several boxes of petrified ones she'd forgotten to give us.

i totally dislike peeps, too. :barfgreen: same thing with those cherry cordials, the cherries with a syrup encased in chocolate......yuck!

Peeps and Cadbury creme eggs are just gross:barf::barf: Chocolate rabbits with those candy eyes are just creepy:fear:

I think the only candies I like are just regular chocolate in Easter themed wrappers (Lindt, etc) and Cadbury Mini Eggs.

Last year I discovered tootsie roll eggs. I haven't been able to eat a tootsie roll for years because they are too hard for my teeth, but the tootsie eggs are really soft and yummy!

M & M's with peanuts is my go-to choice for any holiday, including Easter. Good Friday is this Friday, so that means I'll be able to have a big bag of M & M's with peanuts.

I do love solid chocolate bunny ears, too. Rick usually gives me a solid chocolate bunny from our local candy store in town. (I think they should just sell bunny ears and be done with it.)

I give Rick a pound of dark chocolate covered pretzels, also from our local candy store. He also loves Reese's peanut butter eggs.

I don't eat much candy, chocolate, or snack food. I'd rather just have a slice of pizza or plate of pasta.

That's how I like them, too. You have to let your peeps age like a fine wine, lol.
He doesn’t like them any more, but The Spouse used to love Peeps. His admin assistant enabled his addiction by giving him Peeps at every major holiday. He’d bring them home, stab several holes in the packaging, and let them slowly “age” until they were the perfect degree of staleness. It used to drive him crazy that I’d steal them and microwave them. :insertevillaugh:
