Yes, and loud. I annoy myself when I hum, so I started to whistle, and it annoys everyone else :flail:
Also, I whistle tunes to the cats, and Queenie will screech back. I don't know if she's singing with me or if she's screaming at me to shut up ;)

I can whistle a tune, but I was never able to master the skill of curling my tongue to let out a piercing whistle to get people’s attention in a crowded room.

My job required that I attend a lot of events, and I always got a kick out of a frequent guest who was my go to person to quiet the room for speeches and presentations. She was a tall, thin, elegant, older woman with a lot of wealth who was the last person you’d expect to let out this piercing shriek of sound. And then she’d look all demure like it hadn’t been her. :)

I can, but not well with my fingers. Every time I manage that, I startle myself.

Chocolate likes for me to whistle to her. She and the late Two-Stroke loved "When Johnny Comes Marching Home". Chocolate's favorite, though, for some reason, is "Happy Birthday" either sung or whistled. She blisses out when I do it. Or maybe she passes out.

When we were teaching, we used police style whistles to get the students' attention. When we bought one, it said it was the world's loudest whistle. Then we bought another one exactly like it and it said the same thing!
