Hi everyone. I joined last night, though I've lurked here on and off for a while (even when I didn't have a cat!)
I currently have one cat, Cyrus. He's about 3.5 yrs and we adopted him a little over a week ago. I think he's adjusting well.
I grew up with many animals in the household. We were the ones that took in all the strays, but then I had a 10 year gap without any pets at all. That was an adjustment for a while, and now having a kitty in the household again for the first time in so long is an adjustment.
I'm already pretty well attached to him. Looking forward to hanging out here and hoping to learn a few things since so many more things are known these days than the last time I had a pet.

I'm glad you joined the site and introduced us to Cyrus. Happy to hear you have become so attached to him in a relatively short period of time. Cats have a way of doing that, don't they?
