until HK developed issues, we spent about $100 to $125 a month on wet food counting the cans we used mostly for the juice to be added to his meds.

this food was fancy feast. but there's cheaper food out there than fancy feast - HK's vets said to keep him on the food he had been eating, which was fancy feast - and there are more expensive brands, as well.

i know someone who spends about $50 a month on canned food for one cat, a somewhat cheaper brand that her cat likes.

About $35/month for Lydia, but I do hit sales a lot. When I had Jasmine too it was more like $100 a month because I needed novel proteins for her for several years

2 cats eating all canned food. Around $189.00 a month. Too much but I can't seem to lower it. They like certain foods and I do my best to try and feed them a variety of brands that will keep them healthier

I’m at $160 for two cats, and that’s not even awesome quality food either. They just eat so darn much of it that unless I feed Friskies or something like that, I can’t lower it.

I can't afford canned for the boys, and they have to eat wet food.
I end up spending up to $100 per month making raw food for two 12.5 lb males.
My girls are exempt from this discussion because they are combination kibble and canned.

lokhismom lokhismom what do you feed?
I came back because I wanted to ask you how you feed 3 cats wet food and keep it at $100.00

I feed a variety. This month I spent $181.00 on Chewy and its approximatly what I spend every month :(
1 case of FF Classic.
1 case of Sheba beef.
1 case of 5.5oz of Merrick Rabbit.
1 case of 5.5 oz Whole Earth Farms beef.
1 case of Tiny Tiger.
1 case of Nutro Chicken.
1 case of Pride Rabbit.
1 large bag of Pure Bites Chicken for treats.
I also included what I spend on litter monthly which is about 19.00.

The 5.5 oz cans can usually last for 2 months

I feed about 7-8 oz daily. Sometimes a bit more

The only time I buy high end is once awhile I'll buy a case of Feline Natural or Ziwipeak but I only do that every few months because its too expensive.

I feed almost exclusively Tiny Tiger. I did just order a case of Fancy Feast for some variety, and I throw in a few cans of Abound/4Health Chicken and Ocean Whitefish. Or, if Chewy has a good sale, I will jump on it. They had Crave BOGO a few months ago and we are still working our way through those.

I am currently not working (school full-time) and even $100 on food (litter is another $13.50/40 lb bag and pet insurance...) is stretching us a little thin. Not to mention Dexter was our surprise kitten hat I found back in November....lol! We love him but he has cost us a lot more than we were used to paying in food.

I was feeding holistic select chicken and have 1 cat was spending about $80 a month feeding it, he recently had to have a diet change, and he has not loved it so this last month was closer to $200 in rejected foods, and another $90 on eaten foods.... He is currently eating tiki cat, weruva, some instinct, and raw, trying to figure out what works.

Before my cats had allergies it was about $120.00 (when we were rotating) the higher end would be $150.00 around that time. I don't think it's worth saying how much I spend now
