After trying for over a year, we FINALLY trapped "Mama Star"!! We called around to a number local vets, we found one willing to fit her in tomorrow for a health exam and surgery (Spay). We will have TNR'd 5 cats so far.

Great job!

Thank you for your patience in trapping her and also getting her spayed and have a check by the vet. Have you any photos of her?
No photos. The nearest we've ever been to her before today, was looking through the back windows! We'll try to remember to get pictures before we leave in the morning.

Hope that she won't be too stressed out.
After moving her to one end of the "trap", cleaning poop out of the trap's wired floor, installing new diaper pad half the distance of the floor, moving her over to the cleaned side of the "trap" so I was able to repeat in the other half. Load her into our van and then remove a portion of the cover, so Cheri could get a picture of her. Then, off to the vet. She was more than likely a little stressed, but we were surprised that she never growled or hissed to the point. ... We should hear from the vet in about 2 hours.

Hope all went well!!! (I know it's nerve-wracking waiting to hear!!!!) But you got her trapped - and that was the tough part. Thinking happy thoughts that she did well with surgery, and her recovery is quick. Keep us posted!

That quote was back in April (2019). We got her TNR'd, and released her. She had not seen her since her release until this evening!!! She walked up to our cat "diner" and ate a meal, drank some water, and then slowly walked away. It was a happy feeling to she her again! ... This gives us more hope to see Sunny Boy again!
