Hello everyone.
I had a new cat friend me a few weeks ago. She's really tiny and I noticed she was pregnant. I brought her in the house but kept her separated from my three cats. She gave birth yesterday somewhere between noon and 4pm. I found out when I went to feed her again. She only ate one placenta which I understand is not a big deal. But one of the kittens still has the umbilical cord attached to the placenta and its little body. The placenta is dried up. Do I need to cut it off, or should I just leave it alone? I can't find the answer anywhere. Any help will be appreciated!
