I’m sure they aren’t that cheap other brands that are similar Cost 2.50+. So these are no exception.

Yeah I'd be surprised if they are under $2.50! But I'll keep an eye out for them to try!

I use their Freeze Dried Morsels in the evening - how would this food differ, e.g. does it not need to be rehydrated with warm water?

Yeah this is just a "canned" food with their name on it, basically

It is not freeze dried raw food. It's canned food in a carton. The Morsels are in broth. A lot of broth. I shook a carton and heard all the liquid sloshing around. The Pate ones, are, well, pate.

Too bad Stella & Chewy is using agar agar in those new products - we'll pass on it.
My cats have some nasty food alergies. However agar-agar is the only thickener they don't react to. I do feed raw but with 3 hungry kittens its hard. Ther is another food like this called Caru withhout thickeners. However they do use some veggies which my cats do not react to.

Chicken, Chicken Broth, Tapioca Starch, Egg Whites, Apples, Carrots, Sweet Potato, Natural Flavor, Tricalcium Phosphate, Choline Bitartrate, Calcium Carbonate, Taurine, Dandelion Greens, Potassium Chloride, Salmon Oil, Vitamins (Vitamin A Palmitate, Vitamin D3 Supplement, Vitamin E Supplement, Thiamine Mononitrate, Niacin, d-Calcium Pantothenate, Riboflavin, Folic Acid, Biotin, Vitamin B12 Supplement), Minerals (Zinc Amino Acid Chelate, Iron Amino Acid Chelate, Copper Amino Acid Chelate, Manganese Amino Acid Chelate, Magnesium Amino Acid Chelate, Iodine Amino Acid Chelate, Sodium Selenite).

Just picked up one at Pet Supplies Plus for $2.68! Haven't even made it home yet but remembered this thread!

Same here. (And it's funny -- sort of -- that they specifically mention that these new foods contain no carrageenan!)

So I got the Turkey Pate. The box had a lot of sloshing. Lots of broth on the outside of the Pate loaf

And it comes out like a loaf. Sort of annoying because I only feed about 3 oz at a time, and my normal bowls were too small to accommodate it fully. If you have to store leftovers, it adds an extra step.

I'm also surprised that with all the broth, the Pate was fairly dry. Even after incorporating the broth I had to add more broth/water to it to make it wet enough for Ldyia.

Otherwise she did eat it immediately and seemed to enjoy it. At $2.68 though I'm not sure it will be a something I'll be adding to the rotation.

I found them at my local pet store for $2.50. I got the chicken pate one, and it went over pretty well with my two cats, even my very picky kitten Amira. I'm going to get the other flavors and see if they continue to like it.
