Take heart my northern hemisphere friends; spring is approaching! :bunnydance:

Have you seen any signs of the season changing where you live?

I've been seeing robins for several weeks now but my crocus and daffodils just started blooming. I don't have them in the best spot so they seem to bloom later than other peoples around here. I saw a few trees starting to flower too today! And some little trees outside the grocery store actually had green baby leaves forming. My trees in my yard aren't that close at all. But it's encouraging! :woo:

I saw my first robin yesterday, and today I saw them everywhere! They must have all come at once instead of trickling in like normal. The geese are flying North in vast flocks. The snow has mostly melted. Seed catalogs are in the mail.

It snowed last night here. I hate winter, it needs to spontaneously combust or something.

We've had a big fat robin hanging around for over a month. The trees are in full leaf and the grass needs mowing.

Everything is confused right now. We have days new 80 followed by nights in the 30s. I want to put in my garden because it's almost a month overdue, but the wildly vacillating temperatures and frequent rain make it impossible.

I finally bought about 55 plants on Saturday, but they're in the shelter of the house because it's going to get into the low 40s tonight. Top last them or not to plant them? That is the question.

I ate a loquat from my loquat tree yesterday.

The temperature is also becoming uncomfortably warm but the garden is lovely.

Finally saw my crocuses and hyacinths coming up, tulips will shortly follow, very late this year, I usually see them in February. But it's hard to grow with so much cold and snow! This winter has been far colder and snowier than most, not a lot of snow but way more often. I hope it continues through summer when I need it!

i've also seen flocks of Canada Geese returning. much more bird activity in general. and our Punky has started watching for birds, spending time at the upstairs window that gives her a good view of birds sitting on the forsythia bush branches.

i haven't seen any of my crocus or other spring bloomers, starting to bloom yet. i've been thinking that it may very well be an early spring here -- at least, i wouldn't be surprised if it was.

Saw robins, heard my woodpecker, and the songbirds are harmonizing in the early evening. Have not seen my tulips daffodils yet, but they'll arrive soon I hope.

After breakfast the cats all go and sit outside in the sun, rather than huddling close to the heaters.

Not really; as a matter of fact, It's snowing right now. The only thing is the stores are pulling their snow blowers and replacing them with lawn mowers, otherwise it's same-old, same-old.

Yes, if you count flooding as a change of season. Haven’t seen any birds return but I think I heard an owl’s mating call the other morning.
