Awww man, I was going to surprise you today and post that same exact song!
But you beat me to it.
Sorry about that. :( I guess great minds thinks alike. :catman:

I've got 3 songs picked out for tomorrow. Knowing who I'm a fan of, should make guessing my first choice super obvious. The other 2 might be a bit trickier. ;)

Here's another Friday song. It's not one I'm familiar with, but I do recognize the artist's name from the song posted just the other day.

Do you know the story behind the song? It's one I can relate to all too much as I moved around the country for years until I finally settled in one town and bought a home. Always loved Cream. Such good visual storytelling.
I do, actually, and I, also moved around A LOT!

SO, for today, because I couldn't find anything about Friday that I do like and that isn't already here, this offering...

I need to look up that band Great Big Sea that's singing with him in that video. I love that guy with the beard's accent!
These are the two I'm most familiar with. They used to get a lot of airplay on the radio when they were released.

I know this is supposed to be for good songs and this one is decidedly...not, but I still think if it first when thinking about Friday songs.
No worries. I ventured way past favourite and "good songs" several posts back.

That said, here's one of my favourite Bon Jovi songs:

Bon Jovi - Someday I'll Be Saturday Night

And the other 2 Saturday songs I was referring to yesterday:

Elton John - Saturday Night's Alright

Does anyone besides me remember this one?
Bay City Rollers - Saturday Night

Did we play this Bon Jovi song yet?

You Give Love A Bad Name by Bon Jovi
Probably. ;) I can't speak for everyone else, but that's the song that made me a fan, so I never get tired of hearing it, or seeing the video. :)

I've got a song in mind for tomorrow. We'll see if you pick the same one. :)
I've chosen 3 again for tomorrow. So our odds are better that we'll pick one of the same ones.

Here's another Canadian band:

Honeymoon Suite - New Girl Now

Thank you. I remember the first time I heard them and thinking " Who are these guys?"
That's kinda how I felt about Bon Jovi the first time I saw the video for You Give Love A Bad Name. There was just something about the song that I loved. And as it was a video, I also got to see what the band's stage performance would be like, and between those 2 things I instantly became a fan. And, of course, I'm sure it didn't hurt that the lead singer was incredibly cute. ;)

But that's enough about Bon Jovi, as I know you're all waiting with baited breath to see the which Sunday songs I've chosen.

So without further adieu ...

U2 - Sunday Bloody Sunday

Spanky and Our Gang - Sunday Will Never Be The Same

And ... uhm .... sorry, but since Bon Jovi has a song that fits today's theme, I have to post it.

Bon Jovi - Saturday Night Gave Me Sunday Morning
