If a cat is used to eating a certain brand of kibble and transitioned to another variety/brand I dont think it would be a problem rotating it would it?

My aunt does this as her cat gets bored with the same food but I was wondering what you all have to say...

My crew eats a mix of two kibbles to prevent them getting stuck on one or having trouble with formula changes. I will sometimes mix in a third or change one of the two depending on prices and availability. I do slowly add the third and/or slowly transition changes to the main two.

As long as your cat is used to a mix of food they will be fine. The reason you need to transition is because their bodies get used to one and a new one can cause upset. If you are regularly mixing they will be used to that.

I change brands as well, I've lost count of kibble brands he has eaten, because he's rarely fussy with dry. I'm using blue wilderness and Open Farm at the moment. I'm restricted by what he won't eat regarding wet food but I still manage to get some different brands into him

I'm currently mixing Dr. Elsey's and Wysong Epigen 90 because my kitty doesn't like Dr. Elsey's by itself lol
