Hi everyone,
Here's the situation: In the last week Shadow has been very finicky about food. She gets fed 4 small meals of wet food a day with dry food for the overnight. She will eat her dry food, eat her dinner and usually eat her breakfast. Lately she's been turning her nose up in the afternoons when my dad feeds her while I'm at work, and when I get home, the small meal she gets then.
Today, she didn't eat her breakfast so I told him to pick it up and I'll throw it out when I get home., and try her on something else.

When he didn't refresh her food with what she wanted, she drank a bunch of water and bolted into his room (across the entire house, mind you) to throw it up on his floor.

Other than the throwing up when she doesn't get the food she wants she's been normal.
Normal poops and pees, playing with her toys, coming to one of us for pets.

Half of me is frustrated, the other half is amused at how much of a brat she's being.

Has anyone else dealt with this level of stubborn cat behavior?

Hi
She's not being a brat, she is telling you something is wrong. This is serious.

Call your vet, and set up an appointment for as soon as possible, tell them she's not eating, drinking lots of water and throwing it up.

She was just at the vet last week, because after day three of selective eating, I was concerned. Vet said there's nothing medically wrong with her.
She is drinking normally, and she eats when I give her the right flavor of food. The right flavor is always a mystery though. Today was the first day one of us didn't replace the food with something else immediately.

Try a flat paper plate,

Also try these recipes
Kitten-Rescue.com

Try ham flavored baby food like Gerber stage 2/sitter that doesn't have garlic or onion.

Try cooked eggs

Try boiled unseasoned chicken

In addition to the suggestions Furballsmom Furballsmom offered, you could try adding something like a small amount of canned tuna water to her food - perhaps immediately after she rejects one before she has a chance to repeat her earlier behavior.

There are also commercial cat food toppers, such as Applaws, that you might just 'top' off her food with.
