Oh I know that they sit to close to thw screen but it is because they must try to catch as the fish swim by.

Melody has her "Mew-vie" DVD that I leave on for her during the day while I'm at wotk. Some segments she only glance at; but when her sparrows at the feeder comes on, she is right there by the t.v. This is consistent in the eighteen months since we found each other. Melody knows exactly when the birds will fly 'away', apparently out of the t.v. and tries to catch them, batting the screen and the plastic outside of the . Gotta wonder that she hasn't given up on catching one.

Mingo did that too when I put some birds on the computer. When they flew away, he went looking for them behind the monitor! He was very disappointed he couldn't find them and looked everywhere.

Watch the Cornell University bird feeder cams. They have one in Panama that shows exotic birds, and several Osprey cams. Julie loves watching on the Fire 10 while lying across my chest or stomach.

Noka and Shade watch the birds that eat on our window sill. Every day (during winter) we put out a line of birdseed on the window sill and fill up a small feeder that is hung on the window. There are a couple birds that tease the cats by shaking their tail feathers at the window on purpose.

Samai used to come running everytime I watched The Ghost and The Darkness. I think she related to them.
Onsa watches intently if I'm playing a video game, but that's probably just the movement.

It looks to me like the favorite channel of most of our kitties is Animal Planet. Isn't that cute? We watch other humans; kitties watch other animals.

Our beloved angel Samuda loved car chases. He'd go to the edge of the bed and watch intently.
I think my cats love the nature programs I also love! They're not much for true crime or drama series. We won a great cat video called "CAT DREAMS" in a contest and we all love watching that! It's birds, insects, and small animals, very well produced and very beautiful and calming.
When bird seed was affordable, we've had feeders up, and they LOVE watching the birds (and the squirrels!) at those.

I leave the youtube videos on for cats. Sassy loves birds.

I used to call my kitties "sass-a-frass sassy pants. Then ask them if they had their sassy pants on, 'cause they sure were being sassy!

My Henry LOVES the TV, but his brother (not real brother) can't stand it.

My cats will watch nature documentaries; at least Jainy, my tabby, will. Willa will watch only TV made for cats-- birds chirping and flying around, koi ponds, etc.

If my cats pay attention to the TV at all, it's to watch a hockey game on CBC. Other than that, meh...

I gotta try some fish, but the only thing I've ever seen Greyman really pay attention to are the big cats. When they are moving he is alert and watching!
