Great pic. We have a long central hall, too, and sometimes Elvis does that.
Does she enjoy that device? I've seen them but don't know anyone who has one.Cute and creepy.
The ripple rug? Oh yeah, best thing I ever bought her. She particularly likes to ambush toys, and she tends to pop in and out of the holes like a freakin’ sandworm.

I saw one at a friend's house--I watched her cats using it and they clearly loved it, so I bought one. Total dud for my cats.
I ended up giving it away.

Oh believe me, having a Cat randomly jump onto your shoulder is not all fun and happiness.
My mom's beloved meezer used to jump from the floor up her back to her shoulders. And yeah, that was *NOT* fun.
I had a tux kitty that would climb me (and certain guests) to get up on a shoulder. I can imagine one of my 14 pound psychos hitting me from the floor or top of the refrigerator.
