Hi,
My female cat used to have Nulo (grain free, fish free) dry in the morning and Weruva canned chicken only for dinner.
We had to change her to dry 4 days a week and wet 3 times a day only after she got feline acne. A month after switching her diet she had UTI symptoms and her vet said she most probably has struvite stones.
Her vet prescribed her Hill Science prescription to dissolve the stone and said she needs to be on royal canim SO special food for maintenace.
Looking at SO dry its filled with low quality ingredients. I was wondering if you have any dry food suggestions ? I prefer grain free, potato free and fish/mussles free formulas with chicken/turkey and chicken/turkey mesle as top ingredients. Does she really need to stay on maintanace food?
I know raw is best but I can't afford it. I am planning to feed her wet food 4 times a week and dry 3 times a week. I can't have her on wet only since I might have to leave her alone for 24 hours once in a while and wet food wont work when she is left alone.
Thanks.
