OK, so this is not really fair to Feeby because part of her 'growing' this way is from way too many treats... (Sorry, Feeby). At about 2, and then again at about 12...

LOL, that’s so mean!

I'm sure there's a thread somewhere.. Have you got any pics from when your cat was first a kitten and how much they've grown!

Tiger at 9 weeks old and now, at 9 months old.

You had just missed a photo contest that was held here in January:

https://thecatsite.com/threads/january-picture-of-the-month-younger-and-older.387501

Check it out to see lots of before/afters :)!

It is, I know. If she wasn't so happy, she could turn me in for animal cruelty - 1.) for letting her eat too much, and 2.) for advertising it to the world.

No, in all seriousness, she was emaciated when she found my niece, and despite 12 years passing she has never gotten over those days/weeks/months when she must have gone without enough food. It all started out initially just to get her back up to a good weight, and then that snowballed...

One of my rescues is like this too... every single meal she eats, she acts as if it’s her last.

Dont know what the boys looked like as kittens as we adopted them when they were young adults.

But this winter, combined with less outdoor activity and their thicker winter coats, Greg is now 20/21 lbs and Arnold is 22/23 lbs. So they certainly have "grown" alot from some point.

I have to hold each in my arms, weigh the both of us and subtract my weight, so it's not an exact science.

Boys didnt feel like modeling this morning.

Ps, you can just see the corner of a full sheet of 8.5" ×11" paper that has pretty much disappeared under Greg..lol.

Hello My Friends
This is a great thread. They grow up too fast don't they. Here are a couple snappies of Ginger. The first is a very tiny Ginger. This was the first time I met her at the cat rescue. She was not much bigger than a mouse. It was several weeks before I brought her home. It seemed like an eternity. The second photo was taken today. She was busy knocking things off of the table, that always gets my attention. She is a real peach, and is ten months old now.
