The current plan is to leave after work today, arrive in Montreal and get a room... then leave for Quebec City the next morning and pick up Chanelle

I am a good driver and have snow tires, I know I have kitty cats waiting for me back at home so I will do my best to stay safe.

Thanks, haha I think I would die if I tried all in one span... I barely had any sleep last night because of the Amber alerts (missing child)... I never knew my phone could make such a loud buzzing sound. First time hearing it, and it went off 3 times in 1 hour.

Hey, all! SJ here, brand new to TCS, joining the conversation.

I stumbled upon the original Reddit thread today and read the story. I'm actually in Quebec City and have just been in contact with

FelisCatus regarding Chanelle.

I am able to foster Chanelle temporarily. The weather here is dreadful and the trip would not be easy.

Still waiting on updates from Felis (who is trying to contact the owner), but I figured I would introduce myself

I am just waiting on the 'seller' to answer her phone to see what she thinks... it was already hard enough to convince her that I am a good person who would take care of Chanelle and not someone who would just sell her since they are a purebreed (like I would drive 1,600 km for that). I am afraid of spooking her with this suggestion of another person picking Chanelle up...
I have sent her a message via Kijiji for now and will get ready to leave regardless. If I hear back then we have our answer, if not I will have already left on this little adventure.

Time is running out though as I need to leave in 2 hours if it's me.

Haha, I don't think anyone doubted whether she had her front paws or not!

Toum is a pretty cool name, I looked it up online and it's apparently some kind of Lebanese garlic sauce.
