Another day to bundle up with morning temps. one degree higher than yesterday. 4F this morning but it's supposed to reach 24F later today. Two days in a row of sunshine so I'm a happy camper. :) Snow forecasted for the remainder of the week.

It's 23 F, overcast, with a few snowflakes sifting down, but at least the winds of the last 2 days have died down.

It's cold and sunny, which is a relief from the usual dark, cloudy days. I keep hoping to see some warming of the daily temps, but then I remember the Valentine's Day blizzard about 20 years ago.

The sun is almost always shining here. Even when it's -20 and the wind is blowing 50 mph. It's a little disconcerting when it's beautiful and sunny outside, and then you step out and immediately freeze!

It's 21 degrees and very windy today. Feels better than the around-zero temps but that wind is still icy.

We just refilled the three finch feeders (thistle) and the platform feeder (sunflower). The birds are draining them every day!

Geez, Arizona's and Florida's lows are a LOT higher than our highs! I wonder though, what kills off all those nasty bugs and weeds?
We are still on our rollercoaster, highs in the teens and twenties with terrible biting winds, then 56 by Wednesday, But thank goodness for that. I shouldn't look ahead at the weekly forecast, Isee those teens again and it ruins my nice days knowing they are coming. But on the other hand, when I see those fifties I look forward to them! This morning I went out to feed the cats in the dark and found we have freezing drizzle, everything coated. So far, our February has been much worse than January! At least in Jan. we didn't have highs in the single digits!

30F with snow overnight and into tomorrow, 5" expected. Wind gusts are supposed to be exceptionally high. I stopped at the grocery store today to stock up on food.

And, another snowstorm tomorrow. We have had something like 15 inches of snow in the last ten days, which is a lot even for Minnesota.

It's 25 and snowing now, but rain, followed by a freeze, is expected later on today. BTW, since when have they been giving winter storms names?

It's just The Weather Channel naming them, nothing official. The NOAA has asked them to knock it off but it's good for their ratings so they won't.
