Hi everyone :wave2:

What type of cat litter do you use ?
Clay, wood, paper, corn etc... :petcat:

I use non-clumping clay.
The brand I use is Sanicat classic. Although, it’s non-clumping I find this one actually clumps together really well. & it’s lightweight too which is a bonus.

I use Tidy Cats unscented with charcoal. Clumping. I prefer the lightweight living on the 3rd floor, but will buy the regular if it's on a good enough sale I cant justify spending more on the lightweight.

I use clay clumping Fresh Step that I get from Walmart. It seems to track less, and some I get stink up the house immediately cause they don't control the odor, and this one doesn't. I have one big boy that can put any litter to the odor test, he can clear a room quick!

Clumping clay. Usually Fresh Step or Tidy Cats but I'll buy Arm & Hammer if it's on sale.

For my cats we use Tidy Cats. We have an automatic box and it clumps well. Also it controls odor better than some others.

For the fosters I use whatever clumping litter has been donated. Right now I am using the World's Best which I think is a plant based litter. It is actually the best litter I have ever used. It clumps and controls odor really well. I think it is kind of pricey though.

I got some donated Tidy Cats Light Weight and evidently what weighs a lot is the odor control and the clumping factors. It did not clump at all and the room smelled like 10 cats had used it for days after the first kitten used it. I will never use it again.

I use Fresh Step Lightweight. I can't tell the difference between the regular and lightweight, and I can carry the lightweight so much better. There is absolutely no odor from it, but it does track and is very dusty. I've been considering others because of the dust and tracking, but haven't come up with anything. The wood pellets sound like a good idea.

I was using wood pellets in my Breeze litter box. It crumbles too much and fell through the slots in the tray so now I use the pellets that are made for Breeze litter box. It dehydrates the poop so no odor and there's no litter tracked everywhere.

I use pellets made from a soy bi-product. It's actually edible, so if a curious kitten swallows some of it no harm done.

Tidy cat now..sometimes Fresh Step. I bought a container of Arm&Hammer from Amazon but it was awful..had no odor control and was very dusty. I called them and they gave me refund.

I use Cat&Clean clumping clay at home. We use Ökocat natural wood clumping litter at the shelter, because it's biodegradable and virtually all cats accept it.

We have those wonderful ScoopFree pans, so we use the litter that comes with the refills. We get the sensitive type that has no odor. No dust, either and absolutely NO ODOR! The pans are expensive and so are the refills but for us they're worth every penny.
