So my female cat who is 2 years old has a little lump on (I'm not sure what it's called) I think on her lower stomach like where her ovaries would be but on the side near her leg if that makes sense. I just noticed this lump yesterday while I was petting her and it scared me because its tiny and hard. She isn't spayed yet because the place where she's gonna get spayed was closed for a while but we have scheduled her appointment for 2 weeks from now. Anyways, she first went into heat 11 months ago but her heat cycle is inconsistent. She could go 3 months without it but sometimes she gets it every 4 weeks. So I don't know if this lump has to do with her heat because she should be getting it now since its it's over a month since she went into heat. She has been showing slight symptoms of heat but hasn't exactly gone into full cycle .
Also, a few hours ago when I touched her lump, she meowed in discomfort. I'm not sure what this is and I'm really worried if it might be cancer. Does anyone know what it could possibly be? I have attached a pic of the area where I feel the little lump

The only solution is to get her to the vet ASAP. Otherwise no one can give you an answer. They need to check it out and if necessary will remove it. We just had a lump removed from our 12 year old. It's the only way.

I would call and see if there was any way you could move up her appt., bring up that lump. Then make sure they WRITE down to look at that lump. If not, two weeks will have to be the time. I'm sure she has more than likely had the lump for a while. Most lumps do not morph into something bad in a short period of time. Mammary cancer is somewhat common in unspayed cats, but catching it early is the key. I'll keep you both in my thoughts and prayers, vibes sent her way that it is benign! :vibes:

Hard to see from the pics, but is it by a nipple? If so, at her age it is most likely feline mammary hyperplasia. Which would resolve itself a few weeks after her getting spayed. Takes time for the excess hormones to leave her body even after the spay.

The only way to know for sure is to go to the vet.
