I was watching on the news today about the polar vortex & that parts of America are having some extremely cold temperatures. Temperatures that low I can’t even begin to imagine

So, for today’s question ......

What is the temperature like where you are ?



I’m in England we had a low of -4C and a high of 3C today.

Today is 59F with a low of 48F tonight and rainy. Since three days ago it was 70-80F I am having a real hard time adjusting to the weather not deciding what it wants to do here.

Denver, just east of the Rocky Mountains, is sunny and 46 degrees F but there are some towns in the mountains that are having very cold temperatures.

I'm in South Wales and its 37°. We are having our first snow of the winter.

-1°C (30°F) in the village of Mice in Belgium

In N.E. Ohio right now it is 8 with a minus 12 wind chill.

Yikes. I feel lucky to live where I do. It's been around 60ºF and overcast the past few days. I just saw this forecast this morning. I've never seen one before that says 'tons of rain'! The weekend could be interesting.

It was -6 this morning, but It's now at +6, with winds gusting to 40 mph.

In Western PA it was -5 F this morning, but it is now 10 F. Yesterday was worse though. The wind was intense. At least the sun is shining?

It's supposed to be 50 F on Sunday, so I'll survive until then.

While my sister is vacationing in sunny CA she told me Chicago made the news for another polar vortex. LOL, really? As if I was clueless. Today (-10F) is slightly better than yesterday (-24). With the windchill yesterday it was -51. It was the first time I can remember even the Post Office closed.

Right now it's 15, but feels 4 according to the weather website. This morning was really really rough. I have the day off, had some personal things to attend to. When I walked out I believe it was about 5 with some kind of negative wind chill. The entire ride to my doctor's office, about 15-20 minutes, my finger tips were frozen to the bone - the heat in the car took so long to get warm. Very glad I didn't have to commute into NYC today especially because I work all the way downtown right off the water, only a block or so away. Winds down there are always terrible and on days like this, yikes!

I am in Central Ohio, not the worst of it but we are in the Vortex. Yesterday we had a high of 0 F and a low of -8 F with a windchill of 20 below zero. This morning it was -6. It is starting to break now. Last time I looked it is 14 F. It's supposed to be in the low 50's by Sunday.

You must be in a colder part of the Chicagoland area than me, because my Accuweather says right now in my town it's -2 and feels like -9. It might not be accurate because it feels so much worse than that. It's still a bit better than yesterday though, yeah.

Right now in Naperville, it's warmed up to -6F/-21C. Tomorrow it's supposed to go up to +22F and I hope to get some errands done. I've got cabin fever really bad.

Today's high was 16. For us that's cold enough to stay inside. My husband took the day to work from home. We are baking things in the oven and enjoying ourselves with a quiet day at home.
