Good morning.

:hellocat:

Do you have any bumper stickers or window decals on your car?

I don't drive, but Mr Husband has his little Man Cave on wheels, that's usually half full of climbing gear and snowboards and mud and rocks and stuff. He's got a couple of bumper stickers from the gyms he goes to, but I think he needs something like this.

What do your bumper stickers say?

No, we don't currently have any. I'm supposed to have an animal shelter bumper sticker on the car so the cops know it's somebody from the staff when I've parked there at odd hours, but we have a new logo, and I'm waiting for the stickers to be printed.

I've never been one for bumper stickers or window clings. But for eight years, Clarence wore a magnet on his trunk that said "Women for Obama and Biden. Vote Obama". When I took it off his trunk, I put it on the side of my desk at work. It's still there.

In 45 years of owning a car, that's the only sticker/magnet I ever put on a vehicle.

I don't put political stickers on my vehicle because around here It's an open invitation to get it keyed or, as happened to me in Vermont, get a tire slashed. I did put an American Legion decal on, though.

No, no stickers here other than a small one on the front windshield that is a parking pass for a state park. When I was in college, I used to have a TON of stickers.

Anyone remember these?

I used to have a zoo of stuffed animals stuck to my back windows as well.

I never had bumper stickers or window decals on my car until our kids went to college. Now I have the works including a license plate frame which reminds me where our savings and retirement fund proudly went.

You know, it was weird. We went to Wisconsin, we went to Canada, we went pretty much all over the east coast with Clarence and that magnet. People would blow their horns and give us the finger. Or blow their horns and give us a thumbs up, depending on their political beliefs. I'd be in town at the gas station and somebody would come over and either give me a rough time or tell me how much they agreed with the magnet. It was a conversation-starter, that's for sure. But we never got a tire slashed nor was Clarence ever keyed or anything. Maybe we were just lucky. Or course, you didn't have all the hate back then that has surfaced now. In today's world, I'd never even think about putting a political sign on my car. From either party.

Anyway, Rick has a couple Eagles decals on his truck. And a paw print for the Penn State Nittany Lions. He is a huge PSU fan and an even bigger Eagles fan.

Actually, the tire slash was in '02.

As a matter of fact, there is a car that I see around town from time to time that still has one of those in the window.

I have three political or semi-political stickers or magnets. One says "My cat is a Democrat." Another says Impeach 45 and the other one says Our Dreams Unite Us. I also have several window decals of cats with a crazy cat lady.

When I was first learning how to drive, my dad told ma not to put stickers on because it would lower the trade-in value, I think? Idk, I never did. I guess I could put magnets on, though. I'm supposed to have one fpr the school I teach at as marketing, but I don't know where I put it. I've thought about getting a cat one from Lelia's TNR, but haven't.

So right now I have a dirty car with no decorations.

That reminds me of a story from some years ago. A woman had her car completely vandalized and torn apart because she had a bumper sticker on it that said "I (heart) Isis....She was an Egyptologist.

I don't have any bumper stickers and haven't had for a long time. The only time I did was 37 years ago and I won't put on here what it said. (no cursing, but not appropriate for here).
