Goodbye sweet Darci. You were a fighter, but we had to take your pain away at 3:00 today. We loved you very much. Thank you, for seeing me through rotten dates until I met and married the man who became your cat daddy. Thank you for accepting the kittens we rescued with dignity. Thank you for helping me heal when we lost your brother. We will always miss you and you will live on it our hearts as the best little girl God could have given us. Until we meet again play with your brother and I promise in heaven you will get your other eye back.

My heart cries for your pain. It hurts so bad for so long when they leave us. Your precious little girl is at peace now, made whole and holding your love close to her for comfort. She knew she was loved and that is the greatest gift of all.
To know someone will hold her own love close and to remember her for all time is everything she could ever want. The bond you built, link by link, over the years can never be taken from you. Love is spiritual, so eternal. She is a part of your very soul. "death cannot take that which never dies".....
Try to send her love and comfort, not dwell on her end. Her end should never be made more important than her life, her life is ever more important and precious. She will forever be as close as your thoughts and prayers. So as you would want for her if you were the first to go, find joy and happiness once more in life, because life is meant to be greeted with sunshine and joy, not darkness and tears. she lives on through you now, will always be a part of your very soul.
She goes on another journey now, one that will reunite her with her brother and all that you hold dear. Together they wait for you, warm on the laps of angels.
My thoughts and prayers are with you, please be gentle on yourself. Take care......RIP beautiful Darci. You will never be forgotten, you will forever have a secure place in a loving heart. May the good Lord bless and keep you until you meet again!

I am so sorry for your loss of that beautiful little girl, she sounds like she was a treasure. It is sad that she is gone but she is fine now, just fine, and you will see her again one day like you said and it will be wonderful.

"Their last breath on Earth is their first breath in Heaven" :rbheart:

I hope that your heart heals a bit more each day, God Bless......:alright: :grouphug: :rbheart:

It is always heartbreaking to read posts like this, as no words from anyone of us can ever really take away the pain from your heart. But hang in there. I am sure your sweet little girl Darci would not want to see you sad.

I dread the moment that I should be the one writing this, but I know I would not be alone. So please accept my hugs and prayers, and may you find consolation that your little girl is now free from any pain or suffering she might have endured. You gave her the best life possible. You loved her. And you love her still. That is all that matters.

She is smiling down on you now from heaven.

Once upon a time, near the Green Forest, a single Mother sat on a big rock and cried.

The Wise Man passed by and saw Her. He asked Her (although we imagine He know all, he perhaps his reasons to ask, I suppose): "Why do you cry, Woman?".

She answered: "I have five very small children, and I am afraid I cant manage to share my Love to them, there is so much to clean and to cook every day, I miss the time, although I love them all equally!"

The Wise Man pull a black kitty out of His bag and said: "This creature wanted to share her Love to you and your children!" and he returned to his yellow path.

...and the Woman share love with black cat and children and they all were happy. One by one, children turned into adults and left the Forest for villages and made houses and built families and they were happy as well.

One cloudy day, the Woman saw the Wise Man in front of the gate. He approached her and said: "I am here to pick the black cat, for in the next Forest another Woman is now crying. Would you give the cat to me?"

The Woman gave the Black Cat to the Wise Man, and said : "Now I am alone, no children and no Cat!" and started to cry.

the Wise Man looked to Her Soul and said: "I leave the memory of the Black Cat with You! You and the Black Cat will remember each other for whole Eternity. From now on, the Cat, yourself and the Woman next Forest will share the Great Love all together!".

Thank you all. It take special people to read others pain and respond. It always makes me cry to read one of these goodbye messages. I took the day off and am going to curl up with old sitcoms where the biggest problems they have is a misunderstanding about the cement pond or Jan not wearing her glasses. Luckily i have a benevolent dr who called me in a couple Lorzapams as well.

I use Holy Basil for stress, L-Tryptophan for mood and also the homeopathic remedy Ignatia Amara under the tongue for acute grief and shock, they always seem to help and are not drugs with side effects. Perhaps some of these would be of help too?

I hope you feel better soon.....:alright:

Rest you gentle, Sweet Darci, dream you deep. Your pawprints are on someone's heart forever.

You have done the most unselfish thing we ever do, you have put Darci's needs before your own. You helped her to shrug off that heavy coat of flesh and fur that could no longer support her great heart and loving spirit. Now she dances on sunlight in a place where eternity is but a moment, her only grief, your grief. In the fulness of time, you, too, will shrug off your own coat, and the two of you will dance in joyous reunion. Dance on, sweet girl. Dance on.
