I have 6 cats ages 2, 2, 2, 4, 5, 18. One (age 5) won't eat any wet food (former feral). The other 5 have been quite happy with Fancy Feast gravy lovers. Has to have gravy- cuts/slices/shreds, they each have preferences, but it all was getting eaten. Nobody eats pate. Now 3 of the 5 only want the gravy and I'm having a lot of waste. Any budget friendly suggestions? Tried 9 Lives- not fans, Meow Mix- 1 will eat it. I really want to find something they all like well enough so I can order by the case. They all like Purina One Pure Instinct grain free kibble, so at least there's that.

Melody recently decided that pates are 'not to be eaten'; I am currently optimistic because she seems to be eating the Fancy Feast Medleys White Meat Chicken Fare and the Tuna Fare also. Haven't tried the turkey variety yet.

Sheba cuts are in a similar price range. My girls both enjoy them, might want to give it a try?

I've been through similar experiences with my 4 young kittens around 7-8 months old. They suddenly all decided they hate the same food. Honestly I have learned that giving in to their demands sometimes ends up backfiring. My babies started to learn that they could just walk away from their food dishes prematurely and end up with something "tastier" or a treat instead to hold them over until the next meal. I noticed that cats' behaviors are reinforced by our responses and sometimes a better response is to just end meal time altogether and not offer anything else. I have been trying this for a couple weeks now and aside from one minor speed bump, I can essentially put down any kind of food and they will eat it! They now know that I am not going to play the game of rotating foods and musical chairs. Come eat at meal time or wait until the next meal is served. I always get anxious when my cats don't eat because it can turn ugly but as long as I monitor the situation closely and ensure that they are getting some sort of food within 8-12 hours, usually everything works out. I have noticed that they give up long before the 12 hour mark most times :devilish:
