Hospice called at 12:13 am Sunday morning. He passed away in his sleep right before midnight. He is at peace now. just so hard to believe. We were married for 53 years. I had told him earlier that his sister Maxine was holding his hand and waiting for him. I think that made him finally let himself go.

Oh Lana I'm so sorry. I wish I didn't know how you feel but I do. My DH passed away 7 years ago. Please take care of yourself. It's very easy to get wrapped up in grief and planning everything that you can forget to do that. Yes, he is at peace now but he will always be with you. Love never dies. We are here for you if you need us.
