Cat In Pain After Spaying

So my mama cat got spayed today, and ever since she got home, she seems like she is in pain. She has pretty much hung out in the bathroom and just laid around. She is loafing and shifting, and clearly having discomfort when she shifts. My roommate told me she's been grouchy. I feel bad for her, and I don't remember her sister being like this when she got spayed. Is this all par for the course? This is what she is doing right now:

P.S. I have gabapentin from before Lucy had to be pts, think I should give her some?

Call your vet's office and ask whether she was already administered any pain medication after the surgery - you don't want to double dose her - and have them prescribe something for her for the next few days/the week.

I agree with jcat , call your vet. they may want to see her, make sure everything is ok. Or they may just want to give you some pain meds for a few days. If her symptoms continue for more than just a few days i would take her back in. Most cats will rebound quickly, but there is always the possibility that she has a problem.

Thanks ya'll, I monitored her overnight and she is doing better this morning. Not so worried anymore!
