I woke up this morning to a little bit of cat vomit on the floor, with some weird brown things in it. I immediately thought worms, but this doesn’t look like any of the pictures I’ve seen. Are they worms? Definitely ready to take her to the vet if so, but she has had no other symptoms. Just wanted to check!

Okay - so I also found some around the rest of the house, not in puke. All dead though; nothing moving. There isn't anything moving in her litterbox, so maybe some bugs got in the house and she tried to eat them?? I don't know!

It looks like she ate a cricket and threw up the legs.

Are you just finding the legs all over or full bodied dead bugs?
Haha, I think you're right - I didn't even think of bug legs! No body, just legs. These look like the legs of a disgusting creature here in Ontario called the house centipede. They are horrifically ugly, but like spiders they eat a lot of the pest-type bugs. Do not google. Looks like she killed and ate one, and left/vomited up some of the legs.

What a relief; it probably came in while the door was open for trick or treaters last night. I went straight to worms.

Wow! Poor kitty, that is a really big leg. It looks like a spider leg. Let us know if the kitty gets more sick as some spiders (or just bugs overall) have a ton of venom and could of possibly bit the cat while they were fighting.

She's totally fine! Luckily, winter in Ontario prevents bugs from growing too big, and very few are poisonous. Still, I can't believe I didn't recognize it as a bug leg right away.
