Kat Hitting Me With Her Butt

I have heard of heading butting with a cat.
Kat and I do that almost daily, probably multiple times.
But hitting me with her butt, and it's a big one, that's a new one.
What Kat likes to do when she gets into my lap -- and she's a big girl, just shy of 20 pounds -- is to walk around in a circle and just as she goes to lay down smack her rear end into the left side of my rib cage.
With her size, it's a pretty good jolt.
I just find it kind of amusing. Does anyone else's cat do something similar.

I have to admit that is pretty unusual but endearing. Kat has some very striking markings, what a beautiful girl. You might want to consider posting some pics of her in the Big Breeds section since she is almost 20 lbs.

I had a cat that always needed to "back into" me. My Mom said she was parking!

My cat likes to shove her butt in faces. She would get a lot more pets from people if she would just turn around

Hi. Feeby always turns around and stands with her behind toward me so that I will pat her butt. It's a daily routine now. I drum out songs on her booty with my hand, and end with "2 bits and a haircut" - and then she knows that 'round' is done!

She also sleeps by my side at night - vertically in the bed just like me. But when she goes to lay down, it never fails that her butt is in my face. I wait for her to completely lay down and use both hands to slide her behind away from my face. This is also a daily (well, nightly) routine.

Mooch does this. The "best" part is that she is prone to constipation and not grooming her rear end so well these days. So yeah; sometimes its stinky...
