Hello there! My 3 1/2 year old indoor cat Pepe has a small round white bump above her eye. She doesn't go outdoors much, unless I am with her, so this is unlikely to be skin cancer. It's a smooth lump, not crusty looking. Just wondering if anyone has seen this? I worry way too much, but don't want a stressful vet visit if not needed. Looks like it may be a blocked hair follicle, or sebaceous cyst?

I dont know what it is. However i think a vet visit to be sure. Maybe nothing, hopefully. But if it is a problem the sooner it is caught the better! Do keep us updated on her. Sending her pets and hugs. :petcat:

This could be a mast cell tumor. They are small, round smooth nodules and are common around the head and neck region. I had a cat who had several of them all of which had to be removed and biopsied. They are not malignant normally as long as they are small and dermal. It is when they are internal that they can be problematic.

It is good you are getting it checked by your vet.
