Latin was probably my favorite. Not that I remember much Latin now; but I had an awesome teacher who loved her students (even if not all the kids appreciated her). She was the only Latin teacher in the school; so I had her for all 4 years. I really found Roman History and Architecture interesting. She didn't force us to speak in Latin; which helped me stay interested to be honest.
I liked English Literature too. Some of the books we had to read were awful; but I like words and reading. I just didn't like memorizing grammar rules. I think good writing can come more naturally when you let someone develop a love of reading.
I had a really great Economics teacher also. He loved teaching it and it showed because he made the class very enjoyable.
My least favorite was math. I started struggling about the time we got into multiplication, division and fractions. If you don't get comfortable with those; how are you supposed to do well with algebra, geometry, etc? Thankfully it's my DD's best subject so far and I'm using a mastry program to teach DS.
