These cats are feral/stray. I just took them into my outdoor enclosure because they were wandering around a dangerous parking lot everyday and I've been told they already had a few close encounters. They are very beautiful and I will try my best to care for them properly. Now I have lots of experience with cats. I have Bengals, savannahs and siamese. I understand the mother is a lynx point siamese although I'm very surprised that she is stray and just wandering around.

The kittens however have me baffled. I've never seen kitten like this. They seem like ticked tables but I think they are more than that because one of them has a solid black nose which I know is something that is very rare for a non black cat and usually comes from hybrids and also they seem exotic looking. Why and how would the Lynx Point Siamese Mother have kittens that look like this? What kind of kittens are they? They remind me of Abyssians a but also.

What do you guys think please share your opinions. Thanks!

They are ticked tabbies, which is fairly rare in the general cat population but not unheard of. You can see the mama cat is ticked too.

Ticked tabby is dominant. The fact that all the kittens are ticked means maybe the dad cat was too (but not necessarily). Perhaps there's some inbreeding going on.

The mother is a lynx point shorthair, but this doesn't mean that she is necessarily a Siamese; the colorpoint ("Siamese") gene is widespread in the domestic cat population. I agree with Willowy that the mom appears to have a ticked tabby pattern, like her kittens.

Where in the world are you located?

Is that the mom cat in the top photo, second from left? Thank you for rescuing the cats! Hopefully you can socialize the kittens.

Please keep us updated!

They are adorable!!! And aww they look so scared. I agree also with above posts. The mom isn't likely a Siamese, just a color pointed cat with some ticked tabby. The babies are also ticked tabbies. SOOOOO CUTE!
